RGP Architects – one of the largest architectural practices in the area – were delighted to welcome the newly-elected Mayor of Barnstaple, Mrs Val Elkins, to officially open their new iconic offices at Victoria Street on Barnstaple on Wednesday 20th May.

These premises were formerly the old Driving Test Centre, but with creative vision RGP have invested in the regeneration of this building, turning it into an aesthetically pleasing and desirable space in which to work.

Said Nigel Gale, Managing Director: “It is gratifying to see that already this re-utilisation of a redundant former Council building is instigating regeneration in this part of Barnstaple.”

A number of other close-by buildings are also intended to be refurbished and altered into more productive uses. It is hoped that this will revitalise the area and help to reinvigorate Barnstaple generally.

RGP Architects’ steady growth and continued strength comes from the depth of knowledge of the team and the vast experience in industry sectors, including Local Authorities, Housing Developers, Housing Associations, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Private Individuals, Local Communities and Groups, Medical and Social Services, Leisure, Recreation, Tourism and Education.
